The Shoals Spider Lily (also known as the Cahaba Lily) is an aquatic plant that requires swift, shallow water and direct sunlight to grow, and can only be found in Georgia, Alabama, South and North Carolina.
Over the past 6 years Chattahoochee River Conservancy, along with partners Nearly Native Nursery and Whitewater Express have re-established this once native flower to the Chattahoochee River - and we want you to be involved too!
Now through July 1st, 2021 submit your original artwork - depicting the Shoals Spider Lily to be entered in our Art Contest. All submitted artwork will be judged online on our website, and will be on display to the public during our Chattahoochee Celebration on July 29th. Prizes will be awarded on July 29th.
To enter: read the rules below and submit your original artwork with the official entry form.
